iPhone 5 heading to production

Gravity Jack In the Press

While it’s not expected to be unveiled or released until September or later, Apple’s next iPhone appears to be in the final testing stage, which means it’s pretty close to good to go.

A tipster told 9 to 5 Mac that the iPhone 5 is in the AP, or final testing phase, and “is now being carried around by high level Apple and carrier executives.” He also said that there’s no deal for FaceTime over 3G on Verizon yet, and then drops a tantalizing hint about the next iPhone being potentially 4G.
The generally accepted wisdom has a majorly overhauled iPhone 6 being the first to hop on 4G next year, but hey, stranger things have happened.
