AirPrint
iOS 4.2 enables instant wireless printing from your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch apps. Users can automatically find printers that support AirPrint on their network and immediately print to them without needing to install drivers or download software.
iPad Multitasking
iOS 4 offers multitasking services that allow your apps to perform tasks in the background while preserving battery life and performance. iOS SDK 4.2 beta allows your iPad apps to take advantage of multitasking services, including playing audio, push notifications, receiving location change events, and more. Users running iOS 4 are able to quickly switch between apps that are built using iOS SDK 4.
Game Center
Your iPad apps can now support Game Center, Apple’s new social gaming network that allows your users to invite friends to play a game, start a multiplayer game through auto-matching, track their achievements, and compare their best scores on a leaderboard.
iAd
